Hereford Girls Travel Basketball Tryouts – 2023/2024 Season
The Hereford Girls Travel Basketball Program is committed to assisting the student athlete in perfecting the fundamentals of the basketball game. Our Mission is to help young ladies build character by:
- Providing personal skills development through hard work
- Developing good sportsmanship
- Building confidence; and
- Believing in one another within a fun and challenging environment.
We compete at a more advanced level to prepare the student athlete to potentially play for higher learning institutions. Hereford Girls Travel Basketball participates in the Carroll County Travel Basketball League with games on Saturdays or Sundays.
Evaluations will be held at Hereford High School.
4th Grade- 10/1/23 6-7pm and 10/15/23 5-6pm at HHS
5th Grade- 10/1/23 5-7pm at HHS
6th Grade- 10/1/23 5-6pm and 10/8/23 5-6pm at HHS
7th Grade- 10/8/23 6-730pm and 10/15/23 7-8pm at HHS
8th Grade- 10/15/23 6-7pm at HHS
*ALL Tryouts will be held at Hereford High School*
Teams will practice 2x per week, unless otherwise stated.
Registration Cost (Travel)
The fee will be roughly $250-$300 per player. Fees are not required until you receive an invitation to join the team following evaluations. In addition, uniforms (reversible jerseys and shorts) and shooting shirts will be required (cost TBD) and will remain the property of the individual player.
Additional Information
Games will be played at several Carroll County locations and we will be renting space this year for practices. Any additional leagues or tournaments are at the discretion of the individual team coach and NOT covered in the registration fee.
The season typically runs from Nov 15th - March 1st. Coaches will contact you regarding evaluation time. All parents will be required to sign liability waivers.
